Movie Synopsis / Description

游戏公司工程师旭川（杨祐宁饰）为开发全新的恐怖VR游戏，意外从凶宅中带回一尊残破的泥娃娃。没想到怀孕的妻子慕华（蔡思韵饰），一名文物修复师，对这泥娃娃产生了诡异的执念，日夜痴迷修复，却意外唤醒了深藏的骇人诅咒！当熟悉的旋律响起：“泥娃娃，泥娃娃，一个泥娃娃 ~~~”，才发现，那不是童谣，而是召唤一个无法逃离的诅咒。

VR game engineer Hsueh-Chuan (Tony Yang) brings home a damaged clay doll from a haunted house while developing a new horror game. His pregnant wife Mu-Hua (Cecilia Choi), an artifact restorer, becomes strangely obsessed with fixing the doll , unknowingly awakening a terrifying curse buried within!

Born in August 12th 1985, Director Shieh Meng-ju is a veteran film editor who has worked on projects such as Copycat Killer, The Victims’ Game, Danger Zone, and Detention. He won Best Film Editing at the 58th Golden Horse Awards for The Soul. The screenplay is written by 黄彦樵, known for The Post-Truth World, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, and Urban Horror. Cinematography is handled by 陈麒文, whose works include The Tag-Along: The Devil Fish and The Tag-Along 2. Production design is led by 陈柏任, who has contributed to Danger Zone, Monga, and The Victims’ Game Season 2. Visual effects are supervised by 严振钦, known for Till We Meet Again, Bad Education, Minxiong Haunted House, and The Funeral. The music and sound are crafted respectively by 李铭杰 and 高伟晏, both members of the Incantation team, working together to create a new chapter in Taiwanese horror cinema.
